TESTIMONIALS

I am very grateful to have had this opportunity given to me. After serving 28.8 years in prison since my youth you have helped me transition back into society easier. Thanks for the job opportunity and assistance you gave to me and my family. My twin daughters really needed the eye- glasses you provided them. I have been blessed because you have been a true blessed because you have been a true blessing.

I was let off parole June 5, 2013. But the best thing about being on Parole was coming to CSRI. A program that makes you feel like you are family. They will go out of the way to help you. I been coming since October of 2012 and I will tell anyone who will listen about CSRI because the program works. One day I hope to have my name on the side of the door. I have met a lot of people just like me and we are working for the same goal. So thank you to all of my extended family.

Over the years, I had made bad decisions and did a lot of time in and out of prison. Today, I can sit here and write about the changes in my life. It’s all positive now, inside and out. Formerly known as the Day Reporting Center, a home to me because I am currently in living conditions I would not call home. This place, now the CSRI, has done so much for me, and I can’t think of one thing I didn’t get from this place. I have the biggest support system and now two families. The responsibility I have today comes from the CSRI. I have so much today and I have accomplished more in one year than I ever did in my whole life. So, I can honestly say “I wouldn’t know what I’d be doing today or if I would even care anymore if it wasn’t for this place. It’s my home!”
